Memorial Gardens & Pathways Project

By Nene Valley Crematorium July 19, 2021
The cosmetic stage of the pathway infrastructure continues with the laying of resin – we are all looking forward to being able to walk around the site without getting bogged down in mud! Visitors will soon be able to navigate between memorial gardens with ease, when visiting loved one’s final resting places and/or taking time to reflect. The templates for the three new memorial gardens are taking shape for all to see. These new gardens are on the left side as you enter the crematorium.

We are delighted to share that last week saw further progress on the pathway infrastructure project, which reached cosmetic stage – we can now see the start of resin being laid! All very exciting – we look forward to a time when we can welcome visitors to the garden of remembrance to use these pathways when taking in the view, wildlife and remembering loved ones. This week, the removal of the dead trees and other insignificant ‘green’ debris continues, which will make way for boundary planting.
