You will be: A caring and dedicated individual who is meticulous and methodical, and strives to make a difference to those who are grieving, with a flexible approach and “can do” attitude to every task – committed in providing high standards of customer service, when responding to requests to create a funeral that reflects an accurate memory picture of the person who lived.
A day in the life of working at a Crematorium
It’s your attention to detail that will make the day of a funeral or memorial service memorable – to sensitively carry out the interment or scattering of ashes is crucial – to guide and support bereaved people on all of their choices to ensure informed decisions are reached, is of paramount importance (this includes selecting a fitting memorial – helping to keep the Crematorium clean and tidy, ensuring the grounds (Garden of Remembrance) and Memorial Gardens are spotless – or carrying out minor repairs as needed – assisting visitors with their enquiries – participating in the general running of the Crematorium – working within the Ceremony Hall/Chapel, and contributing towards the development of the service we offer is all required, across the above four posts.
